Job Description
The multimedia designer controls and handles a variety of facets of the video production process from start to finish. In short, the designer can help with creative direction, set a budget, compose scripts, manage schedules, deadlines, and interact with the team each step of the way.
Key responsibilities:
Pre-Production
– At the beginning of the video project, coordinate with the content manager to plan the production of the video — creative vision and strategy.
– By designing a plan that suits the overall goals and priorities videos are more likely to be successful, disregard the number of viewers.
– A multimedia designer must discover messages that should be included in the video to ensure that those messages are communicated clearly during the entire production.
Production
– When a video project begins, the multimedia designer will oversee both the planning and day-to-day production management.
– The designer should also provide feedback on the content itself and its nature (i.e: topic of content, executed ideas, content chronology etc.)
Post-Production
– After the outline of the video is determined, the multimedia designer will work closely with the content editor/manager to add scripts, manage production timelines, review content details, follow the execution of the editing process and ensure deadlines are met.
Requirements:
– Proven work experience as a multimedia designer
– Portfolio of published work (static and animated)
– Excellent writing and editing skills in English and Hungarian
– Attention to details
– Good team spirit
– Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator.
– Bachelor in Multimedia Engineering is preferable or any related field
